SPEAKERS FOR DEVELOPER TRACK

Sarang Datye

Sarang is a Consultant with Microsoft Global Services, India. He has over 9 years of experience in the IT industry and has had an opportunity to design and develop software in finance, real estate and health-care domains. He is a graduate from Symbiosis College of Arts and Commerce Pune with a GNIIT certification from NIIT. He has been addicted to programming since the FoxPro for DOS days. He has been a strong supporter of Visual Basic language and was a Microsoft MVP for Visual Basic for 3 consecutive years before joining Microsoft India. His strengths are core .Net Framework, Windows Communication Foundation and Windows Workflow Foundation.
He has made active contributions to the Microsoft developer community (professionals and academic) across the country and has also been a contributor to Microsoft Academia team’s effort including .NET in the Pune University’s computer science curriculum. He has been a frequent speaker in Microsoft’s Developer events like TechEd and Virtual TechDays. He manages the Pune .NET User group (www.puneusergroup.org) under the INETA (International .NET Association) banner which is also supported by Microsoft. As an MVP, he has often had an opportunity to speak on latest and the greatest Microsoft technologies in top-notch engineering colleges and has also frequented these institutes as a guest lecturer.
Sarang maintains his own blog site at www.dotnetbetaworks.com where he shares his independent thoughts on new and upcoming Microsoft technologies. During his free time, he enjoys trekking, playing soccer, computer gaming and spending time with his family and friends.

Dhaval Faria

Dhaval is Founder and Managing Director for Hirdhav Software Pvt. Ltd., Prior to working in his company, he worked as a freelancer. He has been a Microsoft MVP for 4 years He started his career with HTML and Visual Basic, and then he never stopped exploring more languages like x86 Assembly, BASIC, Java, .NET, etc… He has been in software industry for more than 7yrs as a non-professional and professional. He has executed projects in various languages like VB, Java, .NET, x86 Assembly, COBOL, LISP, JSP, Perl, PHP, CGI-BIN, C/C++, Foxpro, etc… and platforms like DOS, Windows, Linux, Third party Platforms. His main interest involves doing research and development on various new technologies, and exploring all Microsoft technologies which includes DirectX, GDI+, SAPI, TAPI, XNA, and many more… apart from programming field he also has interest in robotics, electronics, science, history, and many more things

 

Vikram Pendse

Vikram is working as a ‘Programmer Analyst’ on Microsoft Technologies in Pune. He started his professional career in 2005, after completing his Masters in Computer Management and Graduation in Electronics. He is also a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist for .NET 2.0 Web Applications. He is actively involved, both in organizing and as a speaker with - Pune User Group (PUG) and PuneITPro as Asst. Manager, supported by Microsoft and INETA. Web Technologies is his core area of work, especially ASP.NET, AJAX and Silverlight. He has worked on many third-party web controls like DevXpress and Telerik. He has executed large scale Web applications for healthcare which includes product development and things like implementation of HL7 standards. When he is away from his Computer, he watches TV and movies, biking and hanging around with friends. He loves to play with new technologies and gadgets. Ramnish Singh

 Ramnish Singh is a Senior Architect and Solutions Strategy Leader with a successful record of architecting, building and operating world-class solutions, programs, and project teams. He works as an IT Advisor with Microsoft’s Developer and Platform Evangelism group.

Ramnish joined Microsoft in 2005 as an IT Advisor for infrastructure solutions, products and services. Ramnish has more than a decade of industry experience, working with customers in high end mission-critical Enterprise projects. He brings varied experience to the table. He has a graduation degree in Computer Engineering. He is also a Microsoft Certified Architect (Infrastructure), a practicing PMP (Project Management Professional), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and holds many certifications from Microsoft, Cisco and Sun.

Aviraj Ajgekar

Aviraj is Computer Engineer from Mumbai, currently working with Microsoft India, as Regional Site Manager. He has finished training on Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Sun Solaris System Administration (SCSA). He is an active member of IT Professionals communities across India specially Mumbai User Group and Pune User Group. He is also a Co-UG Lead for Mumbai IT Professionals UG in Mumbai (http://www.mumbaiitpro.org) He is very much active in online events, blogging, social media as well as offline events like arranging user group meets, taking sessions and many other community activities. He speaks regularly on various Microsoft Technologies at various Microsoft Events, Community Launches and User Group Meetings. He likes to speak on various IT Pro topics. Along with Microsoft Technologies he speaks on various topics like UNIX, Linux at community meet ups like BarCamp or other technology meet ups. Abhishek Pradhan

Abhishek Pradhan is a highly skilled professional working in the field of Information Security. With over 5 years experience, out of which 3 has been in direct Information Security and Auditing, he has worked on several sensitive Govt. projects, assisted in the establishment of Cyber Cells in Maharashtra Police, and training Law Enforcement personnel in Cyber Forensics and Digital Evidence. He has also worked with several Defence & Govt. Security agencies and is a honorary associate consultant for Information Security, IT Audit and Compliance standards to them. This apart, he is a Geek at heart, a fierce proponent of Microsoft Technology and his hobbies include tinkering with computers and software and is a die hard enthusiast for Microsoft Technology with several Microsoft and Security Certifications to his credit.

Like he puts it, I started my breakfast with Windows 95 and had my dinner and more with Server 2008. When he’s not immersed in technology, he enjoys going on long drives on his bike, adventure sports in the form of skydiving and extreme trekking, and playing with his dog in his free time. Also when he’s not immersed in work, you can find him actively blogging and speaking at various public forums, geek blogs, or at speaking engagements on Technology and Info-Sec.

In memory of Arun Kumar

The enthusiasm of independent volunteers supporting the growth of communities worldwide is heartening. Unfortunately, tragedy befell our fellow volunteer, Arun Kumar. In order to promote community activities, he was on the road in India, promoting the community, and succumed to a tragic accident. We salute his contribution towards helping the community and pray for his family to over come their loss.
