Meet the Speakers

Kunal Chandratre

Kunal works at Microsoft India as a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA). He has been working on Microsoft technologies and would continue to do that. He is a former Microsoft Azure MVP having 11+ years of industry experience with Microsoft Azure being his primary skill set.

Mahesh Sabnis

Mahesh has been awarded as Microsoft Most Valuable Professinal(MVP) for his extensive knowledge in .NET technology. He is a Corporate Trainer and IT Consultant, known for being a Microsoft .NET expert. He has conducted numerous trainings on .NET technologies and POC's.

Manish Prabhu

Manish leads the secure dev ops strategy for Core Services Engineering division at Microsoft. With an experience of 16+ years, at Microsoft, he has designed and developed security for several server products, embedded systems and enterprise line of business applications.

Monish Darda

Monish has more than 20 years of experience in application and systems software development and the architecting of enterprise distributed systems. Monish works as a Chief Technology Officer at Icertis which is a leading enterprise contract management platform in the cloud.

Omkar Khair

Omkar works with Rapid Circle as a Cloud Consultant. Before Zevenseas, Omkar worked on his own startup “Logic Engine”, where he worked on connected devices and cloud based analytics. His skill set of Hardware and Software keeps him engaged in the grey area since “Internet of Things” has caught up.

Pushkar Saraf

Pushkar is engaged with Motifworks as an Azure Evangelist. He has pledged his alliance to Microsoft Technologies since he embarked his Technical Career. He started programming at the age of 14 and he still loves C++. Love for technology keeps him associated with this industry.

Sagar Joshi

Sagar Joshi is a Technology Evangelist working with Microsoft India. He focuses on helping SaaS and Product companies adopt Cloud technologies to address their business and technical challenges. Sagar is a certified Azure Architect and a Machine Learning enthusiast.


Sanket Ghorpade

Sanket works with Rapid Circle as a Cloud Consultant. He has been working on Microsoft technologies for a while. Before joining Rapid Circle he worked on his own startup "Vindoshop", where he took lead on technical development of the product. He is also a national winner of Microsoft Imagine Cup 2015.

Subodh Sohoni

Subodh is a consultant and trainer on Microsoft Application Lifecycle Management, Scrum and Agility. Subodh writes articles on the subject of ALM, Scrum and agility on the website dotnetcurry.com. He is Microsoft Most Valuable Professional - VS ALM since 2009 and a Microsoft Certified Trainer.

Introduction to Machine Learning using the Azure Data Science VM - 11.30 AM to 12.45 PM

In this session, we will walk through the basics of Machine Learning (ML) and how the Azure Data Science Virtual Machine (DSVM) facilitates someone new to ML get up to speed with its impressive ensemble of languages, toolkits and frameworks together with scores of ready-to-run examples and tutorials. We will walk through a couple of end to end scenarios on the DSVM. In the process, we will strive to understand the core steps involved in working on ML problems. The session will be at an introductory level from a "Machine Learning" standpoint (no prior knowledge of ML needed). However, a programming background together with some familiarity with datasets should help. We will also lightly brush against some of the underlying algebra and calculus involved in ML algorithms

Serverless technologies are emerging as frontrunners in application innovation and helping solution developers to be more productive by leveraging workflow engines. ‘Azure Logic Apps’ is a part of Serverless Azure Services which can help you create workflows in minutes and integrate with your APIs or third party services. In many cases, you wont have to write code but, if you must, you can do so with another serverless technology called ‘Azure Functions’. Come learn how you can create real-world workflow scenarios using Logic Apps through event-driven application programming.

Azure Resource Manager Templates is the way for automation of resources management in Azure. In this session Subodh will demonstrate how the resources can be created on the fly for deployment through release management service of VSTS and then after testing the deployed application delete the resources. This will ensure that Azure resources exist only when needed which will reduce the cost of using Azure resources.
